Convocation Day at Greenwich University in Karachi is a red-letter day for those students graduating this year who have devoted several years to the learning process, and are now ready to face the exigencies associated with new job prospects in shrinking national markets.

At a difficult time like this it is important that all would-be employers select candidates of distinction who have managed to excel themselves in the quest for learning and have demonstrated creativity and temperance in applying such knowledge. As an employer of several Greenwich graduates myself I feel it my duty to point out that students that graduate from this centre of leaning demonstrate high levels of skill, proficiency and awareness. They also amply possess the kind of leadership abilities that make them a suitable prospect among graduating students in Pakistan this year for well-placed positions in the corporate world, in media and in public service. Not only will we at Dawn avail freely of opportunities such as this, but I am confident that other employers in the field will also help advance the present and future graduating classes from Greenwich along the path to national recognition.

We extend our heartfelt felicitations to the management, faculty and graduating students of Greenwich University on the auspicious occasion of convocation Day 2010. We also wish them the best for a productive future in the service of the Pakistani nation.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to write facilitation for the graduating students of Greenwich University for 2010 especially since I am also a proud student and alumuni of the University. It's heartening to see so many students graduating and entering their first and delicate phase of practical life. The institute's ability to train and develop outstanding students stems from its academic strength that is comparable to any modern and reputable business school operating in Pakistan today.

I wish the students and faculty of Greenwich University a bright future and the present graduating batch success and prosperity in their work life and hope that they continue the tradition of outstanding meritorious achievements like their predecessors.
